The fans of P2F will be delighted that the 3^rd season is returning sooner than expected. Guest of Honour, Pengiran Haji Mahari bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Razak, Acting Director of Radio Televisyen Brunei, on behalf of Radio Televisyen Brunei and GreenCity Concept Sdn Bhd partnership,  proudly declares the entry of “Paspot to Fame” or better known as P2F into its third season, at a launching ceremony held at RTB Sungai Akar on 7 November 2009. It was one of the most popular projects ever rolled out by RTB, thanks to the tremendous support from the public. Riding on the success of the previous season concluded in December 2008, this popular TV Reality Show is set to return to the big stage early 2010. P2F made its debut in Year 2005 with 4 concerts. Then in year 2008 it flourished with 8 concerts.  This time P2F will present 11 concerts.

Guest of Honour explains that P2F is a platform to showcase local talents in this unique series of live concerts where contestants will gain in terms of experience, training and grooming. A mix of local and foreign judges and trainers will provide valuable guidance to the contestants. P2F also aims to encourage youth to play a bigger part in the music industry and hence deter themselves from any immoral activities such as drug abuse and crime. 

The project shall kick off with audition in RTB Kuala Belait on 4^th December 2009. The audition will then proceed in the next two days to BSB at RTB Sg Akar. With the success we had we are expecting a bigger turnout, Guest of Honour explains further. Last year we had more than 400 people turned up for the audition. The elimination rounds shall continue in the successive weekends at Dewan Raya. The footages of the auditions and its elimination rounds will be broadcast on RTB2 every Saturday beginning 23^rd January next year. At the end of these elimination rounds we shall have some 16 contestants waiting to be trained and groomed for the LIVE concerts to be held from 20 March 2010. The finale shall be held on 5 June 2010. And the eventual winner will walk away with this beautiful Toyota Avanza sponsored by NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd and other prizes. P2F 2008 would not have enjoyed its success without the sponsors. This year we hope more sponsors will come forward to support this project, Guest of Honour adds.  

P2F 2010 is to retain the popular PK (Penalty Kick) format. Artists need to be armed with versatility in order to be successful, Guest of Honour stresses. Contestants are not only groomed to become more polished singers with great stage experience, but also to become a more rounded artist. Artists should be prepared to become a competitive entertainer. We believe that for the progress of local artists and music industry as a whole, more platforms shall be prepared for them to perform.
